Summer Makeup Routine
I thought I'd share what I do for my summer makeup routine! I was going to take photos but I lost my camera's battery charger!!
Face
Let me say, I hate face makeup in the summer. I can't wear my normal foundation that provides optimal coverage but instead will have to deal with something that won't melt or sweat off. A flawless face is impossible in this hot weather! So I just put on some sunscreen or moisturizer with SPF (depending on the day) and then wait 10 minutes to let it soak in and apply my Covergirl tinted moisturizer. Its coverage is really minimal but its the best I can find in the drugstore. It does a decent job evening out my skin tone. I'll then put on some green concealer on any sunburn or blemishes. The green helps cancel out the redtones of said sunburn or blemishes. I'll then apply the lightest amount of concealer (any more and it will melt and cake!) and set it with a powder. For the green concealer I am liking Physician's Formula Mineral Wear Correcting Concealer in Soft Green. When I have a sunburn I usually won't opt for blush and/or bronzer.

Eyes
So easy! Prime eyes with a concealer. Apply a light color that is similar to my skin tone all over the lid, line my upper lash line with a waterproof eyeliner (and as always, set it with a black shadow!) then apply waterproof mascara! I love Covergirl's eyeshadow in "Champagne" with Revlon's Colorstay eyeliner in "Black" and then Covergirl's Lash Blast Waterproof in "Blackest Black". In the summer I don't really like to fuss with defining my crease.

Lips
Pink gloss. Or a lip balm with SPF. Glossy lips are a big summer must have! I love Revlon's lipgloss in "Pink Whisper"

What do you do differently, if anything, for your summer makeup?

Poor little bloggie!
I am so sorry I haven't been updating lately! I have had family over for the past week and haven't spent much time on the computer. And I am going through a typical college student's "WTF DO I WANT TO BE?!" syndrome.
Its so funny how that through all 4 years of high school (and even some of junior high) I was set on becoming a beat reporter for the Yankees and a sportscaster. But ever since graduation, I changed my mind. I wanted to do something more. Finally I decided I wanted to become an attorney and practice family law. But then in the past week it changed to business law and then I wanted to major in communications and then nursing and then marketing and then back to criminal justice. Ah!
Ever since a girl in one of my classes told me that criminal justice degree would be a waste of money if I didn't want to pursue a career in law enforcement (which I don't) I have been wondering if that is what I want my major to be.
What if I realize that I really really REALLY can't afford law school and I am stuck with a CRJ degree? Then I am screwed! I already changed my major from Journalism to Criminal Justice and now I am thinking it should be communications (because then I can do anything practically!)
Come fall, I will need to speak to an adviser and figure this hot mess out! 85% of me is still leaning towards law but 90% of me has no idea what to do for my BA before I start law school. I have to decide soon because if I do go to law school, I start my senior year!! Which means LSAT classes next year!
But on the bright side, I am in the Honors college! Yay! Which means harder classes to go to this mysterious undergraduate degree!
