WHAT A HOT MESS!!

So I have been consumed with a project these past few days...Project MY ROOM NEEDS TO HIT PUBERTY. I wanted to make it a wee bit more mature and update it. So I'll show y'all pics of before first and then afters!

BEFORE



It was a baby blue before, like almost every other teen girl's room.



Do you know what my favorite team is?



Newspaper photos leave newspaper ink on walls. Take note. AND TAPE IS A BITCH TO TAKE OFF! MY FINGER BED THINGS BEGAN TO BLEED! Foolishness!



My "theme" before was beachy, thus the flip flops!



All of my furniture was a white wicker and had to make sure whatever I did to my room would match it..



Clutter much? And the Sweet 16 balloon...uhm I just turned 19!

AFTER



Now my desk is more under control!



I got this bedding like two years ago and have been wanting to paint my room to match it since it!



My Yanks collection? Its now contained to these shelves and my closet door!



My walls are also much more tamed and almost simplistic?



This by my bed...my girly shelf haha!



Daybed! But its hard as a rock. So space-sucker!



AND NO MORE THUMBTACKS HOLDING UP MY CURTAINS!!

Max, my dog, was tired from humping the paint drop cloth...he likes my new room!



How did I deal with all that clutter before?!

Damn You College for Screwing With My Sleeping Habits!

Its one in the morning and I just thought I'd do a little post since I'm obviously not sleeping.

Thing is, I'm planning on doing a big post with reviews and photos and crap but I've been busy studying, do a big paper, studying, studying and finals and more studying. Oh! And packing!

So I thought I'd write about something not beauty related but rather a service review.

Ok so I had a piece of shat phone and finally I was able to upgrade it. But then I had to wait for my birthday (which is one the 19th!) to get a new one. So today I finally upgraded to the LG Dare and I love it! But thats not what I wanna rave about right now.

Best Buy is the BEST place to buy a cellphone.

Why?
1. They have the lowest prices with NO mail in rebates! And if you tell them you saw the price at somewhere cheaper, they'll honor it! (I saved $50 off my phone by doing that!)
2. They actually know what they're talking about
3. Buy a phone and get 20% off all accessories! I got 20% both my case and screen shield!
4. If the phone goes on sale within 30 days of buying it, just go back and get the difference!
5. They CALL you to make sure everything is ok! (Haven't yet for me, since I got it this afternoon but they said they will!)

I just thought it was awesome.

Crazy Curls

I have seen so many girls on Youtube talk about how they talk about curly hair. And I thought I had to. Here is how I manage my curly gingaah hair that people like to touch (I hate it when people are like "OHMYGAH I LOVE YOUR HAIR. CAN I PET IT? AND TAKE IT HOME?")

All of these products are Garnier Fructis!

1. Shampoo!
Ok I know like everyone on YT is like NO! BAD SHAMPOO! But I'm sorry, I like making shampoo mahwaks. I feel like shampooing is like cleansing. Like you don't put makeup on a dirty face, you wash and cleanse it first! Same for shampoo. Not only that but my hair SQUEKS. Yeah, legit squeky clean. Its awesome.



2. Condition!
Please do not condition at your roots! Because not only will it help make your natural roots show (all ya dyed hair girls!) but it weighs your hair down! I like to apply my conditioner from the top of my ear (or middle, if its longer) down.



3. Towel dry!
I like to scrunch my hair dry with a towel not rub it. Rubbing it will cause frizz! So scrunch that whataah (that was me typing water with my NY accent haha) out!

4. Leave in Conditioner!
Curly hair loves to be moist like a damn plant. Leave in conditiners can also help frizz! Yay!


5. Mousse!
Mousse is great for the warmer weather! Gel melts and gets gross and dries your hair because of the amount of alcohol most drugstore gels contain!


6. Spray it!
Right before I leave in the morning I like to spray it! This hair spray is amazing. It does not leave my hair stiff at all! Its soft and flexible and why isn't Garnier paying me to say this?!


Also I don't blow dry my hair! But if you must, use a diffuser to help enhance your curls!




Ignore the fact I'm wearing barely any makeup and I'm tired and look like crap! The pic is for my hair! By the way, the Dark Knight poster is my roommate's...my bed faces it, its creepy to wake up to!
